It's been a while since we've heard from Estonian Wharf Cat Records signings Holy Motors (see 'Signs' List Pick here). Pursuing their penchant for Spaghetti Western-inspired soundscapes, 'Country Church' sounds something like an idealistic collaboration between Mazzy Star and The Tornados. Songwriter and guitarist Lauri Raus explains: "It’s an honest one. Dealing with a failing romantic relationship and how low that gets you. Maybe that’s the whole reason as to why it came out in country-style guitar little bit.
